The principle
Fair prices and no traps: you can try for free before paying, cancel whenever you like, and get your money back if the plan isn’t right for you.
14-day money-back guarantee
When you first subscribe to a paid plan (Coastal or Offshore, monthly or yearly), you have 14 days to ask for a full refund, taxes included, with no reason needed and no deduction for the days already used. The subscription is then stopped and the account returns to the Discovery plan.
This guarantee includes, on more favorable terms, the legal right of withdrawal of European consumers.
Forgotten yearly renewal
We notify you by email between one and three months before each yearly renewal. If you still forgot to cancel, email us within 14 days of the charge: we refund that renewal in full and stop the subscription.
Canceling during a period
Apart from the cases above, cancellation (in a few clicks from “My account”) stops future renewals: your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, which is not refunded pro rata. For monthly subscriptions, the month already started remains due.
Changing plans
When you move to a higher plan, the time remaining on your current plan is credited pro rata against the new amount. Moving to a lower plan takes effect at the next renewal, with no refund for the current period.
Service interruption
If Noroît remains unavailable through our fault for more than 72 consecutive hours, we refund or credit the period of unavailability, on request and at your choice. Interruptions caused by data providers (weather models, bathymetry, mapping) are not covered by this guarantee when the rest of the Service works.
Making a request
Email contact@noroit.org from your account’s address, with the subject “Refund”. We confirm within 7 business days. The refund is made within 14 days of your request, to the payment method used; your bank may take a few more days to show it.
Before disputing a payment with your bank, please contact us: a refund request is much faster, for you as well as for us.
Withdrawal form
A simple email is enough. You may also use this model form (annex to European Directive 2011/83/EU):
